Sing your whispering song
Softly in my ear” Tyler Childers, “Feathered Indians”
Heather and Riley, known for their deep connection and love for their bunnies, Jerry and Winnie, celebrated their wedding amidst the festive charm of the Westin Chicago River North. Their wedding day, accented by winter magic and Christmas cheer, was a beautiful tapestry of love, warmth, and unforgettable moments.
The day began with Heather, surrounded by her bridesmaids and family, getting ready in the luxurious suites of the Westin Chicago River North. The suite was alive with excitement and anticipation, echoing with laughter and the sounds of final preparations. Heather’s bridal suite transformed into a scene of elegance and joy, where every moment was lovingly captured.
As Heather and her bridal party prepared, Riley and his groomsmen did some photos downstairs in the main lobby of the Westin. The Westin’s gorgeous view of the Chicago River provided a stunning backdrop, adding an extra layer of excitement to the jovial, fun-filled moments.
The journey to St. Michael Catholic Church was like stepping into a winter wonderland. Light snowflakes fell gracefully, creating a picturesque scene that seemed straight out of a fairy tale. Family and friends, bundled up and beaming with joy, braved the chill to reach the church, their excitement warming the atmosphere.
The Church was resplendent with Christmas-themed lights and decor, transforming it into a festive haven. The church’s grandeur, adorned with twinkling lights and holiday decorations, created a magical setting for Heather and Riley’s vows.
After the ceremony, the bridal party returned to the Westin Chicago River North for a brief-but-wonderful photo session on the patio. Despite the sub-35 degree weather, Heather and Riley’s spirits were high, and their love radiated warmth. The city’s landscape provided a vibrant backdrop, making each photo a blend of romance and celebration.
Heather and Riley’s bravery in facing the cold resulted in some beautiful and memorable photos. Their playful interactions memorable images that perfectly captured the essence of their winter wedding.
The evening culminated in a heartwarming first dance at the Westin Chicago River North. Heather and Riley swayed to Tyler Childers’ “Feathered Indians,” a song that beautifully encapsulated their love story. The intimate moment, surrounded by family and friends, was a highlight of the evening.
The soft melody, combined with the warm lighting and festive decor, created a romantic atmosphere that was simply magical. Heather and Riley’s love and connection were evident in every step, making their first dance a moment to remember.
Here’s to Heather and Riley, who, with every glance, every shared smile, and every embrace, carve out a love story so profound that it rivals the most legendary tales of romance.
Special Mention: Jerry and Winnie
Heather and Riley’s love story wouldn’t be complete without mentioning their beloved bunny, Jerry (and Winnie, who became part of their family after their wedding). While Jerry couldn’t attend the wedding, his presence was felt throughout thanks to the posterboard picture of him provided by Heather and Riley, celebrating as part of their family.
